the filming

In this lesson we had finally been given the new storyboard we would be working on. To start with we spent around 5 minutes analysing how we would try and do as the story board had told us. Once we had decided how we would do it, we went and asked a teacher if it would be possible to use her office for our short film, after she had let us, we went straight there and got our camera and tripod set up, ready to shoot the 'in room' scene. After Jake had messed about trying to put the tape in the camera we finally got it sorted and began to film.

We found it tricky to do our 'in room' scene, as there wasn't really enough room in there to set up the tripod to get our high angle shots, it ended up with Jake and Max standing on a desk, setting the tripod up. Apart from that, and the fact that Morrow laughed everytime the camera was on him, or he looked directly at it, we found the filming fairly easy, obviously there was the odd thing, like signalling to whoever it was acting to begin his piece but somethings we unavoidable. Overall, I think as a group we did well with the filming, saying that though, we have yet to see what we actually got on film, and to edit it...
