Universal:
Universal are one of the 'major six movie studios'. They have managed to become part of the famous 6 due to their outstanding work, and nowadays they contribute to lots of the top films.
They were founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle they are on of the oldest American movie studios still in production. On May the 11th the main stake in the company was sold to General Electric, parent of the NBC by Vivendi Universal.

Big Talk Productions
They were founded in 1995 by producer Nira Park. They began by producing televison series 'spaced' which starred, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Jessica Hynes.
They have only 3 films with their name on, them being,

- Scott Pilgrim vs The World - 2010
Studio Canal:
The company was founded in 1988 by Pierre Lescure as a spin-off of the Canal+ pay-TV network. The original function was to focus on French and European productions, but they then made deals with American production companies.
Their most notable productions include Terminator 2: Judgment Day, JFK, Basic Instinct, Cliffhanger, Under Siege, Free Willy, and the original Stargate movie.
Working Title:
They are a british film production company, who are based in London.
The company wasy founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radcylffe in 1983, they have produced feature filmds and several televison productions. In 1999 Bevan and Fellner launched another company name Working Title 2 Productions. This company is an independant film production arm run by Natascha Wharton, and they have been part of films such as Shaun Of The Dead, and Billy Elliot.
